Let the NBA free agency rumors fly.
This year’s class is star-studded with the likes of Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, and Kyrie Irving.
Stars such as Kemba Walker of the Charlotte Hornets are also available.
The Hornets guard had a career year and made third-team All-NBA.
He is eligible for the super max by virtue of his All-NBA selection, with the Hornets having to be ability to sign him to the most money.
Apparently there’s a surprise team that is in play for Walker’s services.
According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, the Boston Celtics have emerged as a “stealth suitor” to sign Walker.
With the Celtics likely losing both Kyrie Irving and Al Horford, GM Danny Ainge is desperate for a big name.
Could Kemba Walker be the answer?
NBA free agency starts in 5 days.
