It looks like Joe Flacco has a new team.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the former Ravens and Broncos QB has found a home with the New York Jets.
Flacco signed a one-year, $1.5 million deal to be Sam Darnold’s backup. The deal could be worth up to $4.5 million with incentives.
Naturally, Flacco’s signing left folks wondering about another high profile quarterback still on the market, former Carolina Panthers star Cam Newton.
Newton remains unsigned at this time as questions continue to be posed about whether or not Newton wants to be a backup in the NFL.
For now Newton remains a free agent while Flacco gets a taste of the Big Apple.
