After falling to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football, the Cowboys are now 2-6 and 0-8 against the spread on the year.
The 60th season of Cowboys football has been a comedic set of errors that has culminated with having to play its third string QB Ben DiNucci to try and preserve any kind of measure of NFC East division winning hopes, which did not happen.
Even as the Cowboys forced 4 turnovers against Carson Wentz, the Cowboys still lost by 14 points, 23-9, sending the Cowboys officially into free fall in what is increasingly becoming a lost season for America’s Team.
Its appears that the Cowboys are careening toward a top-5 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft given how poorly the team has played this season.
If the season were to end today, according to Tankathon.com, the Dallas Cowboys would hold the 5th overall pick in the 2021 NFL’s Annual Selection Meeting.
The last time the Cowboys had a top-5 draft choice was in 2016 when the selected Ezekiel Elliott out of Ohio State.
Will the Cowboys finish in the top five again?
