The Dallas Cowboys are in desperate need of a quarterback.
Franchise QB Dak Prescott is out for the season with an ankle injury, Andy Dalton has already suffered a concussion this season, and Ben DiNucci is a rookie 7th round pick that got destroyed by the Philadelphia Eagles.
At 2-6, the Cowboys are technically still in the NFC East race in the worst division of all of the NFL. There are some weapons on this team that include CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper, and Michael Gallup.
Ezekiel Elliott hasn’t had a great season, but still is one of the better running backs in the NFL. The offensive line may be getting healthy with the return of Zack Martin and Joe Looney.
Defensively the Cowboys turned in their most inspired performance of the season against the Eagles despite losing by 14 points.
Could the Cowboys be just a quarterback away from actually winning the pathetic NFC East?
One NFL Network analyst thinks their is a certain Saints QB (not its not Taysom Hill) that could be the answer.
His name: Jameis Winston.
Good Morning Football’s Nate Burleson says the Dallas Cowboys should trade for Jameis Winston because he’ll,
“Grip it and rip it!”
If nothing else Winston could provide some fun at the QB position to make things interesting for the Cowboys.
Winston is on a one-year deal with the Saints after leading the NFL in passing yards and interceptions last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
