The Dallas Cowboys are a pathetic 2-6 this season and currently hold the 5th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
America’s Team is also a dismal 0-8 against the spread this season becoming only the third team in the Super Bowl era to start 0-8 ATS (1991 Cincinnati Bengals, 2003 Oakland Raiders).
According to David Purdum of ESPN, the Cowboys will be a double-digit underdog for only the 2nd time in the SB era when they face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday afternoon.
The Cowboys are currently a 13.5 point underdog against the undefeated Steelers.
The only other time the Cowboys were a double-digit underdog was when the Cowboys hosted the San Francisco 49ers in 1989 and they were a 14.5 point underdog. The Cowboys lost that game 31-14.
The Steelers defense leads the NFL in sacks with 30 and are also one of the top blitzing teams in the NFL.
The Cowboys will be without Andy Dalton (Reserve/COVID-19 List) and they have benched rookie QB Ben DiNucci.
The team will either start Garrett Gilbert or Cooper Rush.
